The Spanish Association of business centers gives the 'ACN 2009 Awards'

Annual dinner offered by the Association to its partners in the Hotel Best Western Santo Domingo (Madrid) was attended by representatives of business organisations who regularly collaborate with ACN, as the CEOE (Spanish Confederation of business organizations), CEAJE (Spanish Confederation of young entrepreneurs), the Superior Council of Chambers, the Universidad Nebrija, sponsors, clients and groups related with the sector.
During the gala was awarded four business centers who during this period have reached fifteen years of activity: abacus Business Center (Burgos), Aldeser (Alicante), MVB Centre of business (Pamplona) and The Office Holding (Madrid).

ACN 2009 Awards
The Agency of economic development 'Madrid Emprende' of the city of Madrid received the ACN 2009 institutional Award for his overall contribution to economic development in three ways: competitiveness of SMEs and promotion of new projects, improvement of business infrastructure and attraction of foreign investment. Juan del Álamo, Vice President of 'Madrid Emprende', received the award on behalf of the economic development agency.
"With this award - explained Eduardo Salsamendi, Chairman of ACN - want to acknowledge the institutional support 'Madrid Emprende' provided to the sector of the business centers and their overall contribution to economic development in three ways: competitiveness of SMEs and promotion of new projects"", improvement of business infrastructure and attraction of foreign investment".
On the other hand, the Spanish Association of business centres gave another award ACN 2009 expansion in recognition of the informative rigour, independence, research capacity and professionalism of the newspaper. "All this - explained Salsamendi - makes a decisive contribution to the development of an economic culture of quality in our country". Salsamendi also thanked "the information support expansion delivers to the sector in general, associated centres of ACN and our activities and portfolio of services". Íñigo Garay, editorial director, he received the award on behalf of the Economic Journal.
National Entrepreneur Award 2010
The Act was completed with the presentation of the first edition of the 'national Entrepreneur Award 2010'. The award aims to support and recognize the best business project emerged within a business center. In the words of Edward Salsamendi: "Despite the current economic situation, many professionals do not give up and deepen the wit to undertake new initiatives." Just need a bit of imagination, some knowledge about the market and enthusiasm to start a new business. "With this award we want to encourage entrepreneurs values from ACN and recognize personal skills as key elements of career development".
Precisely, the traditional niche of users of the business centers is currently completed by entrepreneurs and SMEs. The main advantage of the 'business center' from the usual option of rental or purchase of traditional Office is the optimization of costs by the flexibility and integration of services and infrastructures. Savings, both at the time of initiating the activity of a monthly basis, reduces a 82.4 and 60.4 per cent, respectively.
A solution in times of crisis
The Chairman of ACN gave as an example the 22,000 Plan, "an important support for the entrepreneurial spirit that, in times of crisis, should be more proactive to offer alternative renewal to the labour market".
This ACN initiative represents an investment of EUR 10 million and aims at the creation of 22,000 new business projects in business centers. In particular, the Plan involves the distribution of 22,000 bonds of discount on the recruitment of the virtual Office service. This is a useful formula for its low cost and high performance, and whose benefits become more valuable in this period of economic crisis. Depending on the business center where decides to redeem the bonus discount, saving for the client can be 30-50% in a year.
