Hermle: automation projects and 'turnkey' solutions

In addition to carrying more than a decade developing storage systems and robots, Hermle is responsible for the manufacture of one of the first centers of machining with numerical control. Robotic systems: RS1, RS2 and RS3 RS4 cells
The robotic cell RS1 is very compact and can be customized to the needs of the client. Pallets or parts can be fed or removed from the post of charge. The pallets are stored in a system of shelves. The advantage of this system is that there is room for many pallets and the size of this can be defined individually. The robot arm has been designed in such a way that the operator has access to the workspace at any time, thanks to the door of the cell and is even capable of intervening in the process manually. This is part of the philosophy of Hermle.
The robotic cells RS2 RS3 RS4, adapting a Hermle machining center and roboticized along with plenty of storage space, system builds a very productive flexible cell system. They have been developed as a platform, they can expand to accommodate the needs of each client, thanks to the modularity of the storage units, and can have three machines in a single cell. The system comes up before the machine, with access to permissible or restricted. In this regard, both the robotic system and the machining center, can be used manually without interrupting the operation of another machining center automatically.

As a supplier of systems, Hermle develops storage systems and robots for a variety of weights, with 1,000 kg as a maximum transport weight.
