Euromold: World's fair of the construction of tools and moulds, design and product development
EuroMold 2004 offers new solutions for the construction of moulds and tools industry and the modern development of products. EuroMold 2004 reaches new fields: materials, simulation and virtual product development. Also the edition of 2005 has already dates: from November 30 to December 3.
In spite of the large number of fairs held this year, Euromold reinforces its position as a world fair of the construction of tools and moulds, design and product development. Unlike other fairs, in which the number of exhibitors has decreased, EuroMold has reached 1,197 exhibitors.
The current aim is to exceed the figure of 1,500 exhibitors.
International participation
The international participation reached 32% in July of 2004. It pretends that for December the international participation have increased until 35%. The participation by countries is the following: Italy to the equal that the previous year situates in first position with 20,2%, followed of the Low Countries with 7,9%, Spain with 7,5%, France with 7,1%, Portugal with 6,7%, Austria with 6,3%, Switzerland with 6%, China and Taiwan with 4,8% each one, United States with 4%, the Indian and Turkey with 3,2% each one, Hungary with 2,4%, Belgium, Great Britain, Hong Kong and the Czech Republic with 2% each one, Slovenia with 1,2%, Japan, Luxembourg and Paquistán with 0,8% each one, Bulgaria, Finland, Iran, Israel, Latvia, Romania, Russia, Sweden, Singapore, Korea south and Ukraine with 0,4% each one. There has been a promotion to stand out in the participation of Taiwan, Slovenia and United States, however also has observed a light decrease in the case of Portugal and China.
Production areas
As in previous years, the majority of exhibitors come from the construction industry of moulds and tools with 30.6%. Followed by the design of models with a 11.3%, software and hardware with 8.6%, machinery with a 8.3%, tools with 8.1%, rapid manufacturing of prototypes and tools with a 7.2%, engineering with a 6.9%, material and auxiliary with 5.3%, design with a 4.4%, quality assurance and automation with 3.2%, processing and finishing with a 2.2% and others with 3.9%.
Stands of German companies
This edition of EuroMold hosts nine corporate stand more. The new stands this year are in charge of Mahreg Automotive with 24 square meters and the stand of Economical Advancement of the Heilbronn Area that is present for the first time in EuroMold with 70 square meters. It is hoped a forthcoming participation of Lower Saxony and Rhineland-Palatinate, as well as a corporate stand of the new German Länder. The German Association of Pattern Makers (German Association for designers of models) holds the largest German corporate stand in EuroMold 2004 with an area of 347 square meters, followed by VDWF - German Association of builders of tools and moulds. The corporate stand Sachsen occupies an area of 270 square meters. Booth Fraunhofer-Allianz Rapid prototyping manufacturing reaches the 225 square meters. The Industrial Association of Baden e.V. covers a space of 180 square metres. Also present in EuroMold for third time New Materials e.V. stand with an area of 169 m2. The stand of Thuringia - Alliance for the promotion of crafts is 40 square meters as well as the previous year.
Stands of foreign companies
EuroMold, prepare booths from 13 different countries. This year EuroMold welcomes first stands of Hungary and the Czech Republic. The largest stand at Euromold comes from Turkey with a total area of 488 square meters. China will be represented by two companies stand (China Die & Mould Association and Hong Kong Mould + Die Council).
Also EuroMold welcomes stands of companies of France (AFFINE, UBI France), Great Britain (Gauge - and Toolmakers Association), Italy (can't Confederazione Nazionale dell´Artigianato), Spain (Chamber of Commerce of Vigo), India (Tool - and Gauge Manufacturers Association India), Iran (Mould House Co.) (Ltd.), Pakistan (Tradex) and Taiwan (Taiwan Mold & Die Industry Association).
In the future is expected with a stand of Canada.
Special themes and special features
EuroMold 2004 will present a series topics and innovative exhibitions. In Hall 9.2, completely renovated, everything will turn surrounding three themes: design / engineering, simulation / visualization / Virtual reality and materials. These issues will be accompanied by forums that will provide specialized conferences. A part of the materials sector called "advancedMat in transportation" will focus exclusively on materials in transport.
Due to very positive results last year, the special exhibition Future Point will again be in hall 9.2. For the first time it shall be accompanied by a forum that will be displayed the innovative product of the automotive industry and shipping industry developments, as well as the medical technology sector. In the special exhibition Campus - University Innovations, some technical colleges, scientific universities and universities of all Germany are within the scope of the transfer of technology the results of their investigations and some innovative developments.
The innovative character of EuroMold gets highlighted thanks to the special exhibition on construction of aircraft, which takes place in hall 9.1. Especially for the construction of aircraft industry to offer new fields of activity to our exhibitors, be it for internal allocations, structural devices or engine manufacturing. This special exhibition will offer new ideas for this industrial sector, in particular for the development of high-capacity (Airbus 380) aircraft, but also for full boiling of the aviation sector.
For the seventh consecutive time, the EuroMold-Award (Innovation Awards EuroMold) will be delivered, it will be the awards during the event to be held the second day of EuroMold, on December 2, 2004.
Objective, be further strengthened
The main objective of EuroMold is the strengthened its position as main fair world of the construction of tools and moulds, design and product development.
The creation of a dynamic and innovative EuroMold that react to the demands of the market is in addition to.
The goal of 60,000 visitors through an active publicity and close collaboration with the exhibitors will be achieved. As in previous years, is expected for a highly qualified and specialized capacity public decisions go to EuroMold.
Both exhibitors and visitors, offering an attractive programme of support will be increased. In addition, the goal is the increased participation at the EuroMold 2004 Awards, to give greater recognition to this award.
