The industry 4.0 arrives of the hand of Hannover Messe

Under the lemma 'Integrated Industry – Next Steps', the edition of this year pretends to put the emphasis in the integration and the industrial cooperation to reach what have baptised like Industry 4.0 or Smart Factory —intelligent manufacture—. Thus, in words of Jochen Köckler “any company or director that want to keep on being competitive has to visit Hannover Messe, indisputable stop on the way to the factory of the future”. The challenge of the fair, then , goes through to give answer to the needs of the industries to keep his level of innovation, vital for the companies with seen to the future, “be a shop window of all the novelties and show them to the assistants”. Between the challenges mentioned by Köckler and to which have to face up the companies at present found the reduction of costs, the Asian competition and the fight contínua in the international field, with the entrance in scene of countries very powerful like EE UU. In this sense, the director remembered that “Europe is living important political discussions on the renewable, so it is necessary to create a frame of meeting where participate the administrations and the researchers and scientists, beside the industry”. Like this, Hannover Messe, in his edition of 2014, will centre in the industrial automation and the TIC, the technologies related in the power and the environingingment, the industrial supply or the R&D, among others.
The Low Countries, invited of exception
With the lemma ‘global Challenges, intelligent solutions', the Low Countries will be the invited to this edition of Hannover Messe. A region that, in words of Köckler, “is living a constant growth based mainly in the high specialisation of the small and medium enterprises”. Likewise, it aimed that “the country explains also with a sector subcontractor very competitive resupplying the industry with components, modules and solutions to measure for customers of all the world”. On the other hand, and in relation to his previous demand of incentivar the cooperation between companies, Köckler aimed that Holland is, besides, “a clear example of European association of the industry transfronteriza”.
The Low Countries will have a space of preferential partner in the pavilion 3 and national pavilions in all the main thematic areas of Hannover Messe. On the other hand, the number of display units has grown in relation to the previous edition and the space expositivo has more than duplicate.
After the presentation of the member of the Managerial Board of Deutsche Messe took the word Monique go Daalen, ambassador of the Low Countries in Germany. During his conference, remarked especially the values of innovation of the companies of his country and the narrow relation between the Dutch market and German. Smart Factory
After the formal presentations took the word Detlef Zuehlke, doctor in engineering and scientific director of Systems of innovative production (IFS - Innovative Factory Systems) in the German Centre of Investigation in Artificial Intelligence. He was the attendant to put light on taquígrafos on in what consists the ‘Smart Factory'. “Nowadays everything is available everywhere, in any device and at all times. Everything is ‘smart': phones, homes, trucks, factories…”. Zuehlke Did a brief review to the different ‘revolutions' that have promoted the industry until arriving to the day of today: in 1792 with the development of the machine of steam, “what allowed the reach the mechanical automation”, until which foresees for 2015, “that will suppose the consolidation of the intelligent automation (smart)”. But, what will define to the industry 4.0? Zuehlke Quoted several factors: products individualizados, cycles of production shorter, greater complexity of management, global competitiveness and more employment”. Likewise, the future industry 4.0 will contribute products ‘smart': wide memory in the product, the production and the operative data; machines ‘smart': able of autoorganizarse inside the network of production; planning ‘smart': in function of the data of production in real time; and operators ‘smart': planificadores creative, observers and able to take decisions.
Detlef Zuehlke, scientific director of Systems of innovative production in the German Centre of Investigation in Artificial Intelligence, contributed the practical point of view to the Intelligent Factory.
Like this, in a future no very far, Zuehlke foresees to intelligent objects interconnected in network to share information in any steering, what “will require of a lot of work in engineering and programming”. However, also it aimed that all these theories have to have a real demand in the real life. “It is necessary to find the meeting point between the possibilities of the technology and the needs of the users.
In the turn of exhibition the assistants could see a small sample of all the innovations that will satisfy Hannover Messe 2014.
