Julien Carron, technical coordinator of the UCI, affirms: “The use of the Romer Bike Measurement System in the Tour de France is a crucial step for the consistent application of rules, with the end to achieve the absolute impartiality in the competition and the transparency in our sport. It has allowed us check the freamers of the runners quickly and in situ, with precision and with the minimum annoyance for the equipment”.
