A single robot for palletizing and stacking irregular pieces
In this way the robot knows at all times the piece that should be treated and determined the place in which it must be palletized or piled.
Once the robot ends a pallet warns the operator that withdraw it. Once removed the pallet manually, the operator must enter a new palette in the right place.
A difficulty common to automate processes of stacking is the irregularity of the pieces. This hinders the adequate training of the pallets or piles, making in palletizing often need to be overlap with other pieces. Inser Robotics solves it with a robot which also performs operations of dumping of the pieces alternately.
This operation is done by the robot in a table prepared for that purpose.
In addition, and precisely because of the irregularity of the same, it is necessary to check that all the pieces of the pallet are at the same level.
For the detection of level differences the robot performs a measurement of the height of the layer at different points when it finishes paletizarla.
If the difference exceeds a limit determined by the operator, the robot is for and indicates to the operator that you must enter level pallet.
