The association of manufacturers and distributors of Aecoc promotes an approach University-company

The general director of Aecoc, José Mª Bonmatí, and the rector of the University of Santiago de Compostela, Juan Married, have signed this morning in the Galician capital an agreement of collaboration that will allow to give an important jump in the model of relation between the academic community and the business.

The agreement freamers inside an ambitious project of collaboration that Aecoc, the business Association that groups to near of 25.000 companies, sets up this year to national level with the aim to join to the professionals of today and the ones of the morning in a climate of exchange of opinion and next knowledge to the reality and needs of the business fabric Spanish.

The first phase of the project, that starts the next course 2012-2013, will have the participation of 6 university centres of all Spain –the Universities of Santiago de Compostela, Basque Country, Barcelona, Valencia, the IQS and the ESIC- and a ten of companies leaders of the sector of big consumption.

Through this project, Aecoc and his companies associated will show to the university community the advantages that the utilisation of the standards and best practices that the Association promotes in our country, contribute to the increase of the competitiveness of the companies thanks to the increase of the efficiency and to the saving of unnecessary costs. Besides, the students and his educational will have the opportunity to know real ‘cases' of application of these tools in the different processes, of the hand of the professionals of stood out companies of the industry and the distribution of the big consum
