The Bellaterra Eureka building hosts the laboratory's r & d of Henkel

The building Eureka from the Parc de Recerca of the Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona (UAB) BellaTerra (Cerdanyola, Barcelona) has opened this week 'Research and advanced technology' laboratory of the multinational German Henkel, in a ceremony that was attended with the presence of the Minister for innovationUniversities and enterprise of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Josep Huguet.
The laboratory's r & d and advanced technologies from Henkel is configured as a multidisciplinary facility that researches in the fields of chemistry, science of materials and the development and test of new adhesives. In addition, the laboratory will be in permanent contact with the seat of Henkel in Montornès del Vallès (Barcelona) and the center that the company is in the Institut Català de research you in Tarragona.
Promoted by the Consorci de la zone Franca de Barcelona through an agreement with the UAB, the Eureka building is a Centre for the transfer of knowledge and technology between the University and the company, within the UAB Research Park. Its aim is to attract companies within the University and scientific environment with the aim of the co-operation between companies and centres of r & d of the Park.
The Consorci has spent 8.5 millions of euros in the promotion of this building, of almost 5,000 square meters and is in the process of commercialization.
