The cars of wood, big players in the 'Formula Dremel Challenge'

Dremel, manufacturer of power tools for DIY and modelling, held the first edition of the contest 'Formula dremel challenge', which has met in Barcelona to more than 120 people at the Montmeló circuit.
The contestants had to build a wooden racing car using their tools, to what Dremel sent them a mounting kit consisting of a piece of wood to model the wheels and the axles, apart from a set of accessories of Dremel. Forty cars that exceeded the selection process were chosen as finalists, and they have competed at Montmeló in different categories that have been evaluated by the members of the jury: design, construction and originality. Finally, the races took place in official competition ramps. The contest, with participants from all over Spain, has been directed at all times to fans to DIY.
