The Orange, the rutaceae family, is best known in all countries citrus. It is a fruit very sweet, full of juice, spherical shape, and is protected by a thick but not hard, intense and bright orange skin. Its pulp, also of bright orange, is divided into segments that are protected by a second very thin white skin, appears an exquisite perfume. The Orange is in the market year-round, thanks to imports against station, mostly from South Africa, Argentina and Uruguay. The main varieties are: Navel, Navel Late Valencia, Valencia Late, Navelina and of fruit juices, Washington Navel, Navel Lanelate, Ricalate, Thompson, among others.
