The laboratory of Animal Health of Cáceres already has of the accreditation, hand-held of the National Entity of Accreditation (ENAC), that authorises him use the technicians of laboratory more usual to diagnose illnesses that affect to the cabin grazier extremeña. For example, the Brucelosis, the African Pork Plague, the classical Pork Plague, the Illness of Aujeszky, the Illness Vesicular Pork and the Leucosis Enzoótica Bovine.

The Norm JOINS-IN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 (CGA-ENAC-LEC) establishes the legal requirements for the competition of the laboratories of essay and calibración, by what forced to the laboratories of Animal Health to fulfil the exigencias of the rule.

In the year 2008 gave green light to a process that made possible the adaptation to the new methods of work demanded by the norm. In this regard, and as it made public the government extremeño, drafted a Politics of Quality, document of support by part of the General Steering of Agriculture and Livestock so that the laboratory fulfilled the guarantees of quality demanded. This gave place to a new model of management of the laboratory cacereño, that included the creation of numerous documents that justified the quality of the operaciónes realised, as well as the awareness, by part of the personnel of the same, of the need to fulfil all the requirements demanded. Finally, and from the instrumental point of view, was necessary to adapt equipment (identification or calibración), validation of technicians and controls of quality of the essays, etcetera).

After the implantation of this system of quality, the laboratory of Animal Health of Cáceres finds , to the same level, that any laboratory accredited of the world for the analysis and diagnostic of illnesses like the already mentioned.
