PROTECCIÓN LABORAL Thus, the new ICT-GWO center has the latest technology and means to offer “In Company Training” wind training services in any national and international geographical area. This teaching modality provides all the resources and services of a con- ventional center with the advantage of being carried out in wind farms and business installations, minimiz- ing personnel movements and re- ducing costs. The ICT-GWO mobile center con- sists of three multifunctional mobile units that form an internationally pi- oneering GWO training center. “Eolo” mobile unit It is presented as a “unique” tool for training and training in high-altitude work within the wind power sector. Its innovative design and multifunc- tional character make it a true “wind turbine on wheels”. Its facilities allow carrying out all types of evacuation and height rescue practices, emer- gency evacuations of more than 10 m, rescues in ladder, bonnet and hub. Its two tow-and-rack lifters offer the possibility of training on its use and emergency procedures. A de- ployable weather tower completes the wide range of training possibil- ities. “Standard 2” mobile unit Simulator designed for practice and training in re ghting. Its design and dimensions of 8 meters long by 2.5 meters wide allow the simula- tion of res and emergencies inside a wind turbine. The unit has auxil- iary simulators and re protection equipment for extinguishing prac- tices with electrical risk and external extinction techniques. “Training Classroom” mobile unit The mobile classroom offers all the conveniences of a conventional classroom in any national and inter- national geographical area. Thanks to its innovative design, it has two polyvalent and conditioned areas, workshop and audiovisual equip- ment. In addition to the GWO train- ing, the mobile center offers the possibility of providing standard wind training and specialized mod- ules. The entire training program is designed by Senior Technicians in Occupational Hazard Prevention and imparted by a multidisciplinary team of trainers and emergency professionals, with extensive expe- rience in the teaching sector and specialized wind training. “In conclusion, -says Antonio Mar- cos Nuez- we can declare that the advantages of the ICT-GWO Previn- sa-Foractiva training center are evi- dent, offering high quality training with maximum exibility and mini- mum travel”.
