3oTrimestre14 | PROTECCIÓN LABORAL 80 New Catalogues Fal Seguridad launches its 2014 catalogue with novelties in all lines Fal Calzados de Seguridad has laun- ched its new catalogue, which makes patent the design renewal of nearly every model. The most comprehensive pro- duct compilation of the company so far includes new product lines, such as the Evo line, and boasts a comprehensive content, with detailed information for each model and its properties. Each model includes, along with its photo- graph, name and reference, the size, the European standards that meets, and the international symbols that explain the type of protection offered. The design of the catalog shows by means of different colors, pictures and textures, each of the lines of the collection and its use with the aim of identifying the sector to which it is inten- ded in a more visual way. Thus, the pro- duct lines are displayed clearly differentia- ted, an excellent judgment with products whose features and benefits become radi- cally different. Unprecedented developments Along with the revamped design of most models, new products lines have been incorporated into the new catalogue, among them we highlight: ·Evo Line This development consists of several models of safety shoes with competitive prices and with the particularity that incorporate non-metallic toecaps –capable of withstanding an impact of up to 200 joules, and anti-perforation non metal insoles -combining strength with lightness and flexibility, and comfort with protec- tion. In addition, the new line Evo will be manufactured entirely in the facilities which Fal Seguridad has in Arnedo (La Rioja), so it will be genuine “made in Spain”, with the advantages of service and quality that it involves. The Evo line offers different options to industry, such as: boots and shoe in black leather, corded, with non-metallic toecap and insole (Models Ebro and Tajo) and a shoe with laces, in gray per- forated suede, with non-metallic toecap and insole (Model Sella), which will also offer the option of purchasing without anti-perforation insole. Also completing the line there will be two black leather boots, one with Velcro and the other one with quick release buckle, with toecap and insole free of metal (Segura and Tor- mes Models). Furthermore, the new line Evo will also provide models for the food sector. To this end, two separated shoes are incor- porated, in white and black color, wit- hout laces, in microfiber, thus ensuring easy machine washing-, with Vincap toe- cap (Model Levante), as well as a boot (black or white), with Velcro also in microfiber and featuring a Vincap toe- cap (Model Poniente). Finally, a model in suede and Cordura is also incorporated; it has non-metallic toecap and insole dis- tinguishing itself by a sportier look (Model Arga). All models feature dual density polyuret- hane outsoles which meet all requirements of current standards, including slip resis- tance, so that they meet the requirements in both tile and steel (SRC). These outsoles confer to shoes great comfort, ergonomics and lightness, added values that help wor- kers of food processing industry to find highly comfortable footwear, even if their work requires spending many hours stan- ding. The two layers of the outsole, a com- pact one with pronounced profile to incre- ase the grip and the drainage of the boot, and another of polyurethane foam that enhances the comfort of the users’ feet, avoids the muscular fatigue and vibra- tion, besides absorbing energy in the heel to prevent micro-injuries to the joints and muscle injure. Additionally, all models in the line have antistatic properties, and the vast majority has no metal parts since they are designed for people who spend long hours working with electrical appliances. 75
