1erTrimestre12 | PROTECCIÓN LABORAL 70 PPE: materials, machinery and techniques for their production will receive our best recommendations, and in order to do so, we need to know about the specific hazards in all fields and situations. What do end consumers value the most? They value peace of mind. Putting an end to problems. Simple as that. I confess that once these two goals are attained, I find users trust our company. And this, thanks to the human team that works on each proposal, people whose names and faces remain unknown because I’ m the visible face. This is why I always insist on their visit- ing our facilities. I want clients to meet the people who work at Marina Textil, to learn about the mechanisms and processes and the hard work that enables us to offer them the best answer. This is what clients value the most. Security and Safety Managers in a compa- ny cannot possibly know all about fabrics and components used to manufacture PPE, so they value our presence as manu- facturers whenever they need to make a decision. Do your clients, protective clothing manufacturers, contribute to improve- ments made to products sold to end consumers? Not always, but it is true that whenever a client comes to us along with the fabric manufacturer, it is much easier for end consumers to make a decision. I believe this is so in every sector. I do not think we have invented anything in this sense. In our case, it is true that a great share of the protection level of any textile protective equipment will lie on the fabric itself, rather than on manufacturing. Is technical advice offered only to domestic end consumers? Or do you also work with those in other countries? Fortunately, our fabrics are currently used in every continent, in over 40 countries, continuously. This, mainly due to our End Consumer Service Actions. Here at Marina Textil, all members of the commercial team are qualified, with technical knowl- edge and always learning more and more in order to better serve our clients. In this sense, what is your opinion of the situation in our country? I would like to be positive, but this depends on the information people have, and of course, on people’s commitment. It is very important to remember that we are talk- ing about proposals to be used for Person- al Protective Equipment, and that this is something that required good technical knowledge and skills. Our company’s major investments go to R+D+I, and at all times, to training cours- es that require trainees’ presence in every industry sector, so that we can fully know every hazard and need. We are pioneers in Spain, highly recog- nized in Europe and America, an innovat- ing company in emerging countries. This, due to what our fabrics offer and also, to the confidence and trust we build among clients. 75
