El director téc- nico, Peter Seward dice al respecto que el producto “incorpora los beneficios deriva- dos de sus propiedades anti-bacteriana y anti-fúngica”. Asimismo, añade que “esta mezcla se ha creado atendiendo a los requi- sitos de los tejidos y prendas ligeros que eli- minan el olor y están exentos de tratamien- tos químicos, para su uso en zonas de clima cálido, condiciones de trabajo con altas tem- peraturas o posibles aplicaciones militares incluso. La nueva combinación asocia las fibras de la marca Protex y So Fresh. Esta última se fabri- ca con una planta herbácea 100% natural y sostenible como es el yute, que confiere un suavísimo tacto a todas las aplicaciones, ya sean para ropa interior, camisetas y buzos ligeros, además de la seguridad intrínseca a la llama que posee Protex. La nueva fibra Protex Plus se une a solucio- nes recientes de la firma, como son: · Tejido Protex® Max El más reciente desarrollo del Protex satisface las necesidades de protección multi-riesgo, ofreciendo tejidos y prendas ligeras y confor- tables. Protege contra calor convectivo y radiante, ignición superficial o perimetral, arco eléctrico y metal fundido gracias a sus propiedades intrínsecas y permanentes de retardo de la llama. Puede teñirse en colores de alta visibilidad (amarillo-naranja), con alta estabilidad del color y presencia estética. · Protex High Visibility (Hi-Vis) Con la incorporación de la alta visibilidad (EN 471), los tejidos y prendas basados en Protex pueden especificarse para áreas que requieren una protección multi-riesgo (calor + alta visibilidad) en los colores naranja y rojo. Los tejidos cumplen con los paráme- tros más exigentes y se emplean en la con- fección de prendas que cumplen las especi- ficaciones de las normas EN 366 C1, EN 367 B1-B2, EN 373 D1-D3-E1-E3, EN 470 1, EN 532 A, alta visibilidad, antiestáticas y resis- tencia al arco eléctrico. Tienen gran estabili- dad dimensional tras un elevado número de lavados, solidez a la luz y resistencia a álcalis. The new combination marries Protex branded fibre with So Fresh cellulose fibres, produced with 100% natural and sustainable jute. And as the fibres have a unique combination of cross sections, fab- rics made from Protex Plus are very soft to touch, suitable for underwear, T-shirts, light coveralls, in addition to the inherent flame protection of Protex. The new Protex Plus fibres comes as a new solution in the most recent family devel- oped by the company, including: • Protex® Max Fabric The latest development by Protex meets the needs of multi-hazard protection offering lightweight, comfortable fabrics and clothes, protecting against convective and radiating heat, superficial or edge igni- tion, electric arc and molten metal, all pos- sible due to the inherent, permanent flame-retardant properties. The material may be dyed, for high-visibility clothes (yellow-orange) and colours are fast and bright. • Protex High Visibility (Hi-Vis) High visibility (EN 471) means clothes and fabrics based on Protex may be suitable for areas requiring multi-hazard protec- tion heat + high visibility), in orange and red. Fabrics comply with the strictest, most demanding standards, and are used to make clothes complying with EN 366 C1, EN 367 B1-B2, EN 373 D1-D3-E1-E3, EN 470 1, EN 532 A, high visibility, antistatic, resisting electric arc.
