Most orders are for clothes with flame-retardant and antistatic properties, sold by the Tanit brand. Esdepunt manufactures fabrics for making these clothes, consistent with European standards and these materials are used for making an extensive range of protective clothes. Fabrics with permanent flame-proof and antistatic properties complying with EN 531 and UNE 100.015/1 are used at Esdepunt for manufacturing sweaters, jackets, sweatshirts, polos, T-shirts, caps, ski masks, mouth covers and other items. The diversity of products places Esdepunt in the leading position in Europe, among all manufacturers of similar products. Esdepunt also uses thick woven fabrics to make outdoor sweaters and jackets, and felt and polar fabrics with flame-retardant and antistatic properties to manufacture jackets, sweatshirts and more. Pique-knit cotton fabric with these properties and in various thicknesses is also used by the company. The range of hi-visibility clothes by Esdepunt comprises all types of clothes in both conventional and technical fabrics, which may combine flame- retardant, antistatic or water-repellant properties. Today the company’s certified colours are yellow and orange, while they await the certificate for red and AV green, soon to be added to the new UNE EN 471 standard for hi-visibility products. This range of products with reflective bands meet all the versions and possibilities in international AV standards. Tanit identifies also thermal clothes made with Coolmax and DuPont’s Thermolite fabrics in plain weave and pique cotton. Outlast is also a thermal fabric with microcapsules that contribute to maintaining body temperature and clothes made from this fabric are usually worn by workers in various sectors: construction, installations, transportations, parks and gardens, cleaning and road construction. The range of outdoor clothes also comprises polars with windstopper membrane. The Tanit range includes a major sector featuring sweaters for law enforcement, Red Cross and Navy staff. Research and specialization As an added value Esdepunt offers global customized services which mean that users can select their choice of fabric properties and design.
