Productos de actualidad / Updated Products PROTECCIÓN LABORAL 52 | 3oTrimestre07 have been created with our clients’ needs in mind, and with the same quality and safety levels for which this brand is known”, said one of the representa- tives of Martor Direct España, S.L., exclusive distributors of the German brand for Spain and Portugal. Martor-Multiset is an ideal alternative to Profi cutters and its advantage is the addition of a locking screw, which permits the user to set the blade cutting depth. The cutter may be adapted to left-handed users by rotating the blade 180°C on its casing. The Multiset has a solid aluminium body, incorporating a spring loaded blade retract system designed to respond to any uncon- trolled move and a 0.63 mm thick blade, that makes it ideal for all types of cutting applications, offering maximum safety. Martor-Profi 40, with a 40 mm-long blade, is designed for cutting applications that are impossible for other safety cutters. It is ideal for slitting bags, with a blade-retract system designed to respond to any uncontrolled move, and causing the mechanism to be acti- vated as soon as the user stops pressing on the cutting button. This safety knife can be used by both right-handed and left-handed persons by pushing out the insert casing of the blade and rotating it 180°, later placing the insert back on the handle. No additional tools are required for replacing the blade. Just pull out the insert, replace the blade and Martor Profi 40 is ready to continue cutting. Martor-Profi 25 is identical to Profi 40, but with maximum blade length of 25 mm, for all cuting applications requiring a shorter blade, and the additional advantage of use by right- and left-handers so it is no longer necessary to have two knives instead of one. “These new models, created with market needs in mind, are members of the extensive Martor family of safety knives and cutters, and help users with quality and versatility, already hallmarks of our brand, mini- mizing accident hazards that might cause severe injuries affecting the hands”, said the spokesman for Martor Direct España, S.L.
