One of Annic’s foundation sto- nes is its dominion of techni- que, being one of the first firms to exploit the high pressure double density polyurethane injection technique. Regarding this the firm indicates that “thanks to our revolutionary production tool, an automatic machine unique in Europe, capable of injection polyuret- hane at a pressure of 200 bars, MTS footwear is found to be amongst the lightest and most comfortable on the market.” Annic makes a considerable fixed annual investment towards maintaining itself in the select group of top manu- facturers in technology. On page 5 the technological benefits of the footwear are pre- sented, by means of a model. They can be summed up as: absorbent linings, high quality split hide, composite (200 Jou- les) toecap, ultralight sole, anti- pierce midsole, molded shock- absorbing heel, high-density foam padding protect ankle bone, etc. At the foot of the cut- away section of the shoe is a key to the 21 logos used to inform of the characteristics and features of each product. The MTS range Emphasizing its “large choix” (ample choice” of multipurpo- se models, MTS introduces us to the section of the catalog devo- ted to product presentation, which includes the following ranges: • Evolution Multipurpose design of the sole allows optimum grip on all kinds of surfaces. To highlight the sporty look of some inno- vative models and, above all, comfort, flexibility and ventila- tion. Among the technological attributes of Evolution it is worth pointing out: - Air-Flex-Light Integral. Based on the new concept of offering safety footwear entirely in composite material: toecap (Light System) and mid-sole (Flex System): This concept, called Integral, also includes a special Air System lining. - Air System. Is an absorbent breatheable lining, very abra- sion resistant and with anti- bacterial treatment. - Flex System. Anti-pierce non- metallic composite mid-sole. This ensures the same protec- tion as the steel mid-sole but is more flexible and offers much more comfort for prolonged use during the working day. - Light System. Is the new ultra- light toecap in Fiberplast deve- loped by MTS, impact resistant up to 200 Joules. The combination of these three innovations provide the safety footwear with maximum com- fort, unequalled lightness of weight, nil transmission of heat or cold (absolute thermal efficiency). • Power5 A range conceived for outdoor jobs and in very cold environ- ments, thanks to its water-repe- llent leather and high quality linings. To meet the challenges of the terrain, the Power5 models have an all-terrain Supergrip® sole, with generous heels, ensu- ring an excellent adherence coefficient of 0.29. The standard features include, as well as the Cambrelle® lining, an Aerotiss® membra- ne (impermeable and breathe- able). • Nitrile Specially developed for wor- king conditions at very high temperatures, the MTS Nitrile footwear range is particularly aimed at the sectors where there is a risk of projectile sparks or metal fragments (metalwork, foundries, wel- ding, metallurgy etc).
