La descarbonización de los establecimientos está asociada en gran medida a una gestión energética eficiente, que en muchos casos requiere inversión para modernizar las instalaciones de producción de energía, a la implantación de fuentes de energía renovables, etc., pero, por otro lado, implementar la circularidad en la práctica operativa del establecimiento también contribuirá de manera importante a reducir las emisiones de CO2. Para enfrentarse a esta situación, el sector está buscando soluciones para llevar a cabo una transición energética hacia las tecnologías verdes que ayude a capear el temporal. Es por ello, que se está mostrando un alto interés por la tecnología solar fotovoltaica y los distintos modelos de instalación y contratación al respecto como autoconsumo fotovoltaico individual o colectivo, acuerdos de suministro de energía mediante PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) o mediante inversión directa en plantas de generación fotovoltaica remotas. Las dudas en este sentido rondan en cuanto a qué modelo elegir, cuál es el más idóneo para el establecimiento y cómo abordarlo.
