Entre ellos, destaca el proyecto de ZUS nal construction system timbrel vault (or volta maó de pla) with new digital tools for structural optimization through geometry. This procedure gives the new square shapes and textures that make up the access and space showing us di- verse environments to perform various activities both under the canopy and in the spaces created in its surrounding. The Share-it section will involve those whose proposals were selected from the international call for projects on new forms of architecture and urbanism. In parallel with this, actions and inter- ventions with strong social components will be carried out using scenarios from the main public spaces of Barcelona, especially the Fabra i Coats. This will be carried out before the festival. During and after the festival, in order to relate ideas to the public, new ways of crea- ting architecture and urbanism through citizen participation will be incorporated. The lighting of all the Eme3’s space will be the result of the illuminaction workshop, which will be held the days preceding the festival. Led by recogni- zed professionals, this workshop aims to provide a practical experience in lighting design based on a real case complex, combining outdoor spaces, renovated and disused interiors. Innovative International Projects The Share-it section will display 45 projects from 17 different countries. Some of them have been selected from the international call for projects, while others have been invited by the festi- val itself to participate, in order to give visibility to less recognised teams along with already established teams. Among them are, ZUS (Netherlands), they will present “I do Rotterdam” at the inaugural session of the festival. It will include a collective funding initiative for the creation of cities, a new model in which citizens, through a website and other digital applications, propose small- scale private developments which are non-bureaucratic and low budget. It is presented as an alternative to large-sca- le urban planning and the first example is a pedestrian bridge that will reconnect the central district of Rotterdam with Hofbogen, retaining the urban quality of the neighbourhood. Another team, who will also be at- tending, is Assemble Studio (UK). A number of their projects involve de- © impossible living © impossible living
