10|artículo Loft in Barcelona’s Raval: anonymous architectural light The internal reform project we show in these pa- ges start from a work and personal rethinking of the owner of the apartment, as well as the need to customize it, to make it to her own. The lighting has been integrated into the architecture to draw the sMpaces with light and create different scenes. iquel Àngel Julià is the architect au- thor of this loft located in Barcelona’s Raval district. We are used to meet his most academic side, reading our blog “Unlearning Architecture” or listening to him about Corporate Architecture projects in which he participates from GROUP IDEA (www.gru- pidea.com) Architecture Studio of which he is a partner and Director of Design. This time, you can see a transfor- mation project of a small loft, a space of coexistence of work, living, and enjoying leisure time. In the reform, spatial and visual continuity has been taken into account: the distribution, the perimeter walls and the original false ceilings showed many irregularities, which rather than hide, were enhanced.
