Constant we tune with the objects to adapt them to our daily needs. FLIP is one of these objects, a versa- tile and functional luminaire that, in addition, embellishes the space where it is placed. CREDITS If you think about it, we tune objects to adapt them to our needs everyday, so often in fact we hardly think about doing it. Flip is one of these objects as the body of the lamp can be adjusted up and down to customise the direction and light effect. Its concave shape makes this articulation possible, me- aning the lamp can flip between its two end positions and anywhere in between. Thanks to the versatility of this movement, Flip becomes a multifunctional light: when it points to the celing light is reflected, in its central position Flip is a wall lamp and when turned down it lights a specific area which is useful for creating mood or lighting an object. However Flip stands out not only for its functionality, but also as an object in itself...designed to look as good off as it is effective when turned on. The screen is broken up by irregular cuts through its sur- face, cracks forming graphic lines that appear to have been quickly drawn by hand that emit an indirect light. The surface of the screen sticks out and curves inwards corresponding to these cuts, creating movement evocative of a wall-sculpture, defined, delicate and feminine at the same time. The versatility of Flip concerns also the light source, as it can hold an halogen bulb or a Led strip. Flip is a new product that will enter the Foscarini collec- tion and that will be presented next April at Euroluce. PREVIEW EUROLUCE
