■ were made of both offices, especia- lly as homes and hotels. My father lived the great promotion of Bar- celona and was lucky to work more than half a century in this city and also saw buildings made in the XXI century. The economic crisis is leading many architectural studies to open offices across the Atlantic in America. How do you see the future of the profession? The future of the profession here in Spain look bad, very bad. In Latin America, I am doing a project in Lima, Peru and probably do one in Chile, with colleagues in Barcelona, Alonso and Balaguer. On the future of the profession, there are other parts of the world where the possibilities are far superior architecture. While I be- lieve that we must serve experience what we have experienced here not to make the same mistakes and try to be much more serious: developers, and architects, according to pro- jects, to avoid what has been here the bubble and speculation , that caused the time in which we are. ■ IESE Business School.
