6| EDITORIAL Eficiencia energética: valor añadido Energy efficiency: added value En julio de 2012, el consejo de ministros aprobó una línea de crédito de 266 millones de euros, con car- go a los presupuestos del Ministerio de Industria, Energía y Turismo, destinada a financiar inversiones realizadas por empresas turísticas. El objetivo principal de esta medida, incluida en el Plan Nacional e Integral de Turismo 2012-2015, es la progresiva renovación de las infraestructuras turísticas de nuestro país, así como la mejora de la com- petitividad persiguiendo el aumento de la eficiencia energética y la incorporación de nuevas tecnologías, así como la generación de empleo directo e inducido, tanto en el sector turístico como en otros sectores asociados. El Ministerio de Industria, Energía y Turismo pretende, con esta línea de financiación, crear un estimulo a la inversión en el sector, en el actual marco de restricción financiera. Gracias al Instituto Tecnológico Hotelero (ITH) tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar una selección de hoteles en Madrid que ya han implantado diferentes medidas relacionadas con la eficiencia energética, y que han podido comprobar las ventajas económicas que esto supone. Pero también la diferenciación con respecto a establecimientos de la competencia, ya que aportan un alto valor añadido: el respeto por el medio am- biente. Valor, que cada vez tiene más en cuenta el cliente al que se dirigen este tipo de hoteles. El tema nos ha parecido de gran interés y considerando que es una oportunidad para el sector de la ilu- minación, os presentamos este ESPECIAL EFICIENCIA ENERGÉTICA EN LOS HOTELES. La verdad es que nosotros, gracias a todos los que han colaborado en esta edición, hemos aprendido muchísimo. Luminoso 2013 para todos. In July, 2012, the cabinet approved a credit line of 266 million of euros, with post to the budgets of the Department of Industry, Energy and Tourism, destined to finance investments realized by tourist companies. The principal aim of this measure, included in the National and Integral Plan of Tourism 2012-2015, is the progressive renovation of the tourist infrastructures of our country, as well as the improvement of the competitiveness chasing the increase of the energy efficiency and the incorporation of new technolo- gies, as well as the generation of direct and induced employment, both in the tourist sector and in other associate sectors. The Department of Industry, Energy and Tourism tries, with this line of financing, to create a stimulus to the investment in the sector, in the current frame of financial restriction. Thanks to the Technological Hotel Institute (ITH) we had the opportunity to visit a selection of hotels in Madrid that already different measures related to the energy efficiency have implanted, and that could have verified the economic advantages that this supposes. But also the differentiation with regard to establishments of the competition, since they contribute a high added value: the respect for the environ- ment. Value, which every time there bears in mind more the client to whom this type of hotels go. The topic has seemed to us of great interest and thinking that it is an opportunity for the sector of the lighting, you let’s sense beforehand this one SPECIAL ENERGETIC EFFICIENCY IN THE HOTELS.
