Nicknamed “The Poet of Light”, Ingo Maurer integrates the traditional with the innovati- ve technology. Thus, he creates complex lighting sculptures, which are mixed colors, shapes and techniques that convey an incredible sense of weightlessness. Ingo Maurer, a German son of a fisherman, was born with a gift in the eyes. At sea, where his father and his companions saw waves and storms, he saw bright bursts of light games. Today, at 75, can proudly say he has spent his life playing and, with this game, has reinvented the way to look at light. Their lamps illuminate beyond, tell stories and interact with the user as if it were an essential part to complete the fixture.
