The use of non-invasive technologies enabled these lighting designers to achieve significant results and finally they won the challenge. The built architecture is lacking of deco- rations, minimalist, industrial, planned by spatial relationships and impercep- tible guidelines, in a great explosion of reflexes which are emanated by the glass shot, sometimes by the glassy blocks or by the water. Concrete is the only material used for the construction of the tunnel, even for the outside: the squares, the fountain, the walkways are all realized in a single vision of grey that is in harmony with the blue of the big wall. The design of the concrete structu- res is conceived in order to highlight the large stone blocks that interlock with one another, the attention to detail is super- fluous, but the important is the grain of the material. All the geometric context leads to a single centre, the sculpture of “the shaman of water”, a dark shadow in the deep blue. The project is mainly characterized by the strong will not to interfere with the surroun- ding environment preserving the beauty of the effects and reflections generated by natural light.
