6| EDITORIAL ¡Por fin una buena noticia! Finally some good news! Según los datos que nos ha facilitado Ma Ángeles Muñoz de FEDAI (Fe- deración de Asociaciones de industriales y Exportadores de Aparatos de Iluminación decorativa), el pasado año la exportación de luminarias decorativas en España creció un 17,8% respecto al año anterior. En total se exportaron luminarias decorativas por valor de 412.489.000 euros, sien- do nuestro principal importador Francia, seguido de Rusia, Arabia Saudí, China, Italia, Portugal, Alemania, Emiratos Árabes Unidos, Bélgica, Países Bajos, Polonia, Dinamarca, Turquía, Estados Unidos y Reino Unido. Cuando se publique esta edición de ICANDELA, estará a punto de co- menzar en Frankfurt la séptima edición de la Feria Light & Building. Los fabricantes españoles ocuparon el tercer lugar en número de exposi- tores en 2010 y se espera que en esta edición acudan a la cita más de 180.000 visitantes de todo el planeta. Deseamos que el esfuerzo que, con toda seguridad, realizan la mayoría de las empresas que acuden a esta convocatoria se vea recompensado y permita que las cifras de exportación en nuestro país continúen cre- ciendo y contribuya a dinamizar la economía del sector en general. Y como podéis ver, a propósito de exportar, publicamos esta edición especial de ICANDELA en dos lenguas, con el objetivo de llegar a un mayor número de lectores de otros países. Esperamos que os gusten los cambios que hemos tenido que realizar debido a ello. En nuestra próxima edición, os contaremos algunas de las cosas más interesantes que sucedan del 15 al 20 de abril en la feria más grande del mundo de la iluminación y tecnología inteligente para edificios.
