6| EDITORIAL LCOS NUEVOS RETOS DE LA LUZ omo en todos los años pares desde el 2000, con un ligero movimiento de las fechas habituales, del 13 al 18 de marzo de este 2016 se celebrará la feria Light+Building en la ciudad de Fráncfort del Meno. Ha llovido mucho desde aquella primera edición que nos sorprendió a todos por la gran cantidad y variedad de empresas que, en un mismo recinto ferial, no pequeño, presentaban sus novedades. El sector de la iluminación y la automatización de los edificios han cambiado radicalmente desde entonces debi- do a la gran evolución de las nuevas tecnologías. La feria llega a esta edición con la revolución de lo digital. Light+Building es actualmente una smart feria, un lugar de encuentro para conocer lo último en diseño de luminarias, nuevos mate- riales, fuentes de luz, electrónica, automatización de edificios y la conexión de éstos a la red para conseguir, además de eficiencia energética y sostenibilidad, dotar de mayor confort y seguridad a las personas que los habitan. Un año más, allí estaremos para compartir con vosotros en la próxima edición lo más interesante que hayamos visto, escuchado y disfrutado. Más de 2.500 empresas, decenas de conferencias y 100 espacios en la ciudad iluminados para la LUMINALE darán para mucho con toda seguridad. En esta edición de iCandela, en la sección “A Fondo”, vemos como el llamado Internet de las cosas está cambiando la manera de relacionarnos con nuestro entorno. En un futuro no muy lejano, la iluminación urbana, las luminarias urbanas, se convertirán en una parte importante de trasmisión de datos. Al mismo tiempo, en nuestros “Cuadernos” os informa- mos sobre los beneficios que se obtienen mediante la implantación de sistemas de control automatizado en una vivienda o edificio terciario. Para compensar un poco la parte tecnológica, y a modo de continuación del artículo publicado en la edición anterior, os invitamos a descubrir en “Aula CD” cómo diferentes movimientos artísticos del siglo pasado experimentaron con la luz artificial “hasta conseguir extraerla del límite estático del lienzo”. En esa misma línea, la más emocional y poética de la luz, y con una entrañable conversación mantenida en la Villa Andrea de Barcelona, el reconocido arquitecto, pintor, escritor y diseñador Oscar Tusquets nos explicó su aprendizaje y experien- cias con la luz y también algunas anécdotas muy interesantes que le han hecho saber cómo iluminar inteligentemente.
