Conclusion/what will happen in future At the very conclusion it is important to stress out two of the basic rules that govern the field of lighting: 1. Good lighting can enhance architecture. It can even improve not-so-good architecture. On the other hand poor lighting can also degrade otherwise good architecture. 2. It is important to know what to illuminate, but it is also very important to know what not to illuminate. Beside everything stated in the above text, it has to be stressed out that light has the most important role in a new, rapidly emerging virtual space where 1. Por ahora vivimos en el mundo físico pero en el futuro puede more and more architecture begins to generate and where the rules of “analog” world can be bent or overcome or utilized in quite extraordinary way. A completely new environment becomes a parallel to the physical world and enables us to switch between one and another. The boundary between these two seems to be more and more blurred. However attractive and promising it is very important for the students of architecture to distinguish between the advantages and disadvantages, between possibilities and limitations of the two. A perfectly designed virtual architecture may not be so perfect when translated into the real one. So far we still live in physical world but in future we might move to the other, the virtual one. The Intermediate stage, the internet, is already here. (Picture 5) Architecture is in constant development. It constantly seeks for new design que nos mudemos al mundo virtual. Assist. Transportation systems in high rise buildings, ventilation, CO2 footprint and even CO2 consumption by incorporating greenery, healthy micro climate, incorporating natural rhythms as seasons, day and night, winds and natural light as an integral part of our living environments become crucial for our survival in the near future. Additionally, colonization of the outer space, other planets, rise totally new questions in terms of habitable environments. Proper lighting conditions are therefore essential for building-up habitable environments – on Earth or elsewhere. Assist.
