Students are organized in groups of appr. 5 persons that come from various grades of study. In this way emerging of new ideas (lower graders) and merging of this ideas with experience (higher graders) become a melting pot for “cooking” an optimal solution. The next very important phase of the workshop is a presentation of individual proposals, followed by questions of the invited critics i.e. academic persons of various background that have no direct connections with the project. Student groups that “pass” this “exam” continue to make the executive plans of the project. The next phase consists of a materializing of the plans i.e. constructing a structure, a sculpture, a lamp or whatever the project is going about. The final phase istheexhibitionthatisusuallydone in the public space with an opening ceremony accompanied with the media (TV, radio, newspaper interviews...). This, besides the actual realization, brings the most satisfaction for the students. It is very important that the initiative, the process and the results of the workshop are documented and published what brings very valuable contribution to students CV. The whole process is supervised by a mentor who keeps the organization and the conduct of a workshop “in the track”. The mentor also takes care of the pedagogical part of the project – how should students cooperate within the groups, how should they respect and obey professional regulations and ethic as well as encouraging them and giving them moral and professional support during a workshop. So, at the end of the workshop student gets personal insight into the whole process of design and materialization of the proposedidea- intheinteriororin the exterior public space. The Faculty of architecture regularly contributes on such events with papers, workshops and other presentations. The students are encouraged to participate also.
