Inside the collaboration that Ifema is supported by Coex, the first operator ferial of South Korea and owner of the first centre of conventions of that country, in where they develop 30 fairs, and with which the institution ferial of Madrid has reached an agreement by which has been designated like commercial delegate for the Iberian Peninsula, goes to promote the Spanish business participation and Portuguese in Green City Week 2012. Said announcement, that will take place of the 23 to 25 October next, in Seoul, is the conjoint elder of fairs of architecture and sustainable construction in that Asian country.

Under the umbrella of Green City Week, the pavilions To and C of the enclosure ferial of Coex, in Seoul, will receive 4 contests: Korea architecture Fair & Festival, centred in projects of architecture and materials of sustainable construction, and renewable energies; the Smart Green Building, devoted to the management of the sustainable construction, maintenance of buildings, materials of ecological construction and power for the edificación; Urban Furniture (urban equipment), and Korea Lift Safety Expo, that treats of the products finished of elevators, accessories, systems of parking, components, inspection and hygiene and new technologies.

For this task, Ifema contributes his know how and his experience in fairs very consolidated in his respective fields, as they are the recently concluded Tecma, International Fair of the Urbanismo and of the Environingingment, and SRR, Living room of the Recovery and the Recycled, or the International Living room of the Construction, Construtec, the International Living room of the Window and the Closing Glazed, Veteco, and the International Fair of the Natural Stone, Stone, three contests that the past month of May gathered for the first time in the International Week of the Construction.

For the companies related with the sectors that comprises the Green City Week, the participation in a sample of these characteristic is particularly interesting, especially, considering that South Korea finds immersed in the development of sustainable and ecological politics and that reinvierte roughly 24 trillion euros in renewable energies and projects of reduction of broadcasts, and that poses like aim achieve a participation of 10% of the market of ecological power to world-wide level at the end of this decade.

In fact, South Korea is shipped in an ambitious program of measures, known like the ‘Green New Deal', that contemplates the destination of 35% of the Korean budget for power to the renewable (according to a report of the Institute of External Trade, Icex, referred to 2010), with the end to eradicate the high tax of dependency (96,4%, in 2008) of the power mattered. Finally, suits resaltar that the presence in the announcement organised by Coex supposes an excellent opportunity to access to one of the most dynamic economies at present (the 11ª), of a country with a half acquisitive power – high, the 8º of the world, in where easier results to do businesses, with big eases arancelarias for the commercial samples and with good interrelationships with China and Japan, what allows the access to the Asian market.
