Cheese Entrepinares open its logistics center that will work to 200 vallisoletanos, in the year 2012

The new logistics center of cheese Entrepinares, located in the new industrial Sands (Valladolid) and which have been invested 47 million euros, will be opened during the coming year. The Centre, with a surface area of 40,000 m2, was visited in mid-month by the Mayor of Valladolid, Javier León de la Riva. Once comes into operation, this new infrastructure will be used also for storage, ripening and final product preparation tasks. The facilities will have enough space to save 14,000 pallets, in the area of ripening of cheese, and 3,000 pallets, in the finished product. 18 Lines of packaging will also be added. The implementation of this logistics centre will lead to the creation of 200 jobs at the end of the first year of operation.
Cheese Entrepinares is one of the largest great manufacturers in the country. The company, with 25 years of experience, has plants in Galicia, Madrid and Castile and León, Spain. Throughout the year, it produced 30 million kilos of cheese per year devoted to internal and external market.
Cheese Entrepinares closed the year 2010 with a volume of milk of 193 million litres to more than 1,200 farms, which also provides advice on quality and food safety. With regard to the volume of sales, the company turnover of EUR 149 million. In the long term, is expected to a notable growth, which could reach 50% in two years.
