The Valencian municipalities join to look for solutions in sustainability and energetic efficiency

The past 19 July, in the municipality of Alcoy (Alicante) celebrated a technical day on energetic efficiency and renewable energies in regard to the project Elena, by initiative of the City council of Alcoy, the Valencian Network of Rural Municipalities (Fevader) and the engineering Innovasem.

Antonio French, mayor of Alcoy and Rafael Looked, general director of Impiva (Institute of the Small and Average Industry of the Generalitat Valencian) were the attendants to present the act that had the presence of the mayors of other Valencian municipalities, representatives of more than 35 city councils and professional and companies of the sector.

The reason of the day was to put in common the advances realised in the Project Elena of the Valencian Community (Sustainable Rural Municipalities) and offer a viable strategy to the municipalities.

For this, gathered to 9 companies installers, each one of them leader in his sector and that contributed solutions in the field of the energetic efficiency and renewable energies so that the Valencian municipalities that participate in this project can attain a greater energetic saving.

Knauf Insulation was one of the companies collaborators and shared with the assistants his knowledges and experience in matter of isolation. Esther Pita, manager of the department of prescription of Knauf Insulation, realised a report on the influence of the isolation in the energetic rehabilitation and the real performance of the buildings. In his exhibition explained that the studies realised by Knauf Insulation show that the greater energetic saving and environingingmental when rehabilitating the house achieves acting in all the envolvente, that is to say, so much in the faã§ades as in the cover of the edificación.

For this reason, the multinational presented Supafil like solution for the isolation of the buildings in the Valencian municipalities, a new insulator of Mineral Wool to inject in walls of double leaf. Supafil Is an affordable solution because it can use so much in new work as in rehabilitation and his application is easy, fast and by the outside of the house. When finishing the reports the assistants had the possibility to realise personalised meetings with the companies speakers, to deepen in the subjects that more interested them, ask the concrete doubts and analyse the specific cases of each municipality.
