The city of Parets del Vallès has sealing ships of Maresme Residus Integral SL (MRI), rubble collection company. According to del Vallès builders Guild - which has 300 members-, the company had been expelled from several municipalities for inappropriate practices and had been the subject of various municipal records and the Agència de Catalunya Residus (ARC).
"We will support all actions to protect the environment," assured Antoni Gene, President of the Guild, which has given full support to the action of the city of Parets. Previously, according to Gene, "MRI had acted under the name Container Garcia Martinez", society was declared insolvent.
According to the Guild, MRI, with their Manager Manuel Marín Pro, had attempted to legalize an activity to evaluate non-hazardous waste (demolition and surplus of construction) in the municipality of Parets. Recently, the ARC had been communicated to the consistory that the comarca of the Vallès Oriental already available the facilities necessary for recovery of waste from the construction, which provides for Progroc (program of waste from construction management of the ARC).
