The Board of Trustees of the construction labor Foundation Approves a budget of EUR 92.4 million for 2011

The Board of Trustees of the Labour Foundation of construction, consisting of 52 members, has approved the budget of the Organization for the next year 2011, which amounts to 92.4 million EUR, 1.84 per cent lower than the approved for 2010.
In the agreed figures. Training revenues account for 57% of the total, the collection by Enterprise fees, 33%, and 8% occupational hazards prevention-related activities.
The President of the Labour Foundation, John d. Lazcano, said "good progress of the entity,"prudent and moderate speed, but without losing the necessary dynamism to continue to address new initiatives"." The Commission stated the implementation progress and launch of a website of employment specific to the sector of construction (www.construyendoempleo.com), the importance of the training bonus and his momentum in enterprises, and training in specific occupational risk prevention for jobestablished in the Fourth Convention.
The director-general of the State, Enrique Corral, reported the main activities and results achieved by the Labour Foundation in what is year 2010. Thus, more than 160,000 workers in the construction were already trained in some formative action the Labour Foundation. Part of the campaign of continuous training at the national level, subsidized by the tripartite Foundation for training and employment (FTFE), already 85% of the programmed courses has been executed.
