Océ collaborates with the I meeting architecture and construction 2010

The Group specializes in document management and printing in professional environments Océ has collaborated with I encounter architecture and construction 2010, an event organized by the ICC group at the Intercontinental Hotel in Madrid, which had as its central theme "The structuring of infrastructure" through sectoral plans. The direction of this meeting has been carried out by the architects Carlos Lamela and Rafael de Hoz, and counted with the presence of Jordi Ludevid, as well as the participation of leading experts in this sector, the major Spanish construction and well-known architects such as home automationisolation or sustainability.
The collaboration of Océ has materialized in contribute their expertise in solutions for the sectors of architecture, engineering and construction, focused to obtain a document management and a more efficient cost within the same control. Given the significance of this Act and its close relationship with the sector, Océ has been considered key to support this initiative, because studies of architecture have been affected by the current difficult economic situation. That is why they need, more than ever, with technology partners that will help them to overcome the situation.
During the day, which has counted with the support of the Superior Council of colleges of architects of Spain (CSCAE) and its Chairman, Jordi Ludevid to the head, have been dealt with themes such as the intelligent architecture, internationalization, energy efficiencyinnovation or sustainability, among others; all this is framed in the context of the crisis that is living in the Spanish architecture studies.
However, despite the fact that in 2010 there has been a fall in the residential market and offices, the rapporteurs have said that the situation is improving and they have shown their confidence in that in a period which shall not exceed nine months the sector it will be retrieved, although never in the rhythms of the past. To achieve this, been identified as key measures to take the following: the professionalization of the studies of architecture, the search for new markets abroad and the drastic reduction in costs.
