70 companies from building materials proposed solutions against the crisis

The Convention has brought together with the motto 'Industrialization of construction' manufacturers of products for the construction and related entities, partners, as well as entities of the Advisory Board and companies interested in research that develops the iMat. Among the solutions to be proposed highlighted 'manubuild-Open building', a pan-European research project collaborating for the industrialization of construction, with 25 companies and institutions from 10 European countries, in addition, the iMat has also presented its own industrialization model: 'The Court of the building'. With this set of proposals, the iMat wants to provide solutions based on the technological leap to face the fall materials sector suffered in 2008 as a result of the crisis. Specifically, in the 20008 the turnover of the Spanish industry of building materials fell by 22%, to 21.450 euros.
