Rockwool is involved in the rehabilitation of the former home of the Guardia Civil in Planoles

The project aims to improve the thermal comfort of the tenants and reduce energy consumption. All this will be done through the rehabilitation works which consist of the implementation of a thermal insulation of 30% superior to that required by the CTE and other passive measures. The responsible entities have relied on Rockwool for carrying it out.
In this block of flats have been constructive solutions above the new requirements set by the new technical building code. "From Rockwool want to give a step forward and go beyond requirements of the CTE to enhance the energy efficiency of homes." "For this reason, in Planoles have increased by 30% (with respect to the CTE) solutions of insulation on the exterior walls and the roof of the building" explains Jordi Bolea, responsible for the project and the Department of technical regulations and certification of products of Rockwool.
