Construmat Turns into the platform of international business for the companies of the construction

“With this edition, that have designed working elbow to elbow with the companies of the sector, have attained the three aims that had proposed us. Offer international business to the display units that allowed them compensate the fall of the internal demand; contribute knowledge and value added to the living room, with the organisation of an international congress of construction solutions; and claim the industry of the construction like one of the motors of the economic recovery and do hear our voice ”, explains Josep Miarnau, president of Construmat.

The visit of the minister of the Cities of Brazil, Aguinaldo Ribeiro, accompanied of a delegation of more than 30 employers of the construction, served to present to the Spanish companies the project Minha House Minha Life, the initiative of social house bigger of the world. “Visit Construmat is a big opportunity to know the last under construction sustainable novelties, applicable also to the equipments of official protection”, explained Ribeiro.

Of this way inaugurated the Forum Contract, the new space of Construmat destined to put in contact the international demand, very especially of the Latin American countries and of the Maghreb, with the offer of the Spanish companies, that have been able to check that they are especially competitive in the external markets thanks to the high tecnificación and innovation of his products. In this area, have sought-after 170 constructive projects of all the world with a potential investment of 30.000 million euros and agendado a total of 517 meetings of business between companies expositoras and international buyers.

“Have seeded to collect”, explains José García, the commercial director of the company leridana Domoespais. “We are very satisfied because we have initiated contacts with customers of Colombia, Mexico or Peru, among others”, says. By his part, Javier Rabadán, director of the Andalusian company of formworks of isolation Seism, values like this his first participation in Construmat: “we Have sold our system to promoters of Brazil, Chile, Peru, Colombia and north of Africa”.

The international visitors, pertinent of 95 countries, also value positively the possibility to find new providers and material more advanced that in his countries, especially in the case of the emergent economies. “The Forum Contract is an excellent initiative to be able to do real businesses. In Construmat have found a lot of innovation, so much in products as in systems”, explains the Chilean architect, Daniel Moral (Molo Architects).

Another of the novelties of the living room has been the Construmat Innovation Center, an area in which they have presented new products and material, before even of his commercialisation, so that the display units could concretise alliances with the centres of R&D more leading and, in this way, mass-produce his innovations opening new lines of business. In the first edition of this forum of transfer of knowledge and technology have participated 14 speakers of twelve technology centres of 10 countries.

The offer of Construmat 2013 has completed with the Building Solutions World Congress, an international congress that has had more than 65 speakers of 15 countries. The meeting has gathered in Barcelona no only architects, but also constructors and producers of materials, what has allowed that all together explained of which way have innovado to build buildings more sustainable.

During the meeting, the boss of the Unit of Energetic Efficiency of the European Commission, Vincent Berrutto, urged to the companies of supply of water, gas and electricity, “to invest in the energetic rehabilitation of the buildings” with the end to help to the final consumer to reduce the energetic consumption of his houses. In this context, the Generalitat presented in Construmat his leaf of route so that the buildings of all Catalonia can reduce the energetic consumption in 60% in the period 2014-2010, following the new European Directive.

This new stage of the living room, focused to a greater promotion of the internationalisation of the sector and with two days less than length, has had the visit of 49.816 professionals. The next edition of Construmat will take place of the 18 to 22 May 2015.
