Armstrong facilitates the creation of circular acoustic ceilings and floating with his Axiom Canopy
14 February 2013
Axiom Canopy Circulate and Curvado is the new system of floating acoustic ceiling of
Armstrong. It treats of a false ceiling composed of modular plates and profiling perimetral that adopts form curves and circular to award to the spaces of singularity.
Is thought to improve the acoustics of spaces with plenum open, as they are some offices, or of those others that pose high exigencias acoustic, as it occurs in the schools. In the case of the classrooms, the installation of ceilings Axiom Canopy reduces the times of reverberation and, of this way, favours that the students comprise better the explanations of the educational.
In the school Twydall Infant & Junior School, in Kent (United Kingdom), that projected the study of architecture Design Quarter, installed the floating ceiling Axiom Canopy Circulate of Armstrong in dark grey finishing. Photography: Joel Knight.
The structure of Axiom Canopy Circulate and Curvado of Armstrong can configure until in 7 different forms and the profiling, with until 25% of content recycled, can realise with 13 exclusive colours. These floating ceilings can install in buildings of new construction, but also in spaces already existent like part of a reform to improve his acoustic quality.
