The week of 9 April Ascer, in collaboration with the ICEX, organises by second consecutive year a participation grouped of Tile of Spain in the fair of ceramics, azulejos and sanitary ware Ceramics China 2012, that will celebrate in the New International Expo Centre of Shanghái of the 9 to 12 April. A total of ten companies of the sector manufacturer of azulejos and pavimentos ceramic conform the Spanish participation in the contest.
Closing the diary of the month, will celebrate of the 17 to 20 April in the North American city of Orlando the fair of coatings Coverings. In this occasion, the expedition of Spanish companies manufacturers of ceramics will be of 28 participants.
Coverings Is the main fair of coatings pétreos and ceramic of United States, market that is, in these moments, the ninth in importance for the Spanish ceramics to international level. The Spanish participation will find grouped in the Official Pavilion that carries organising the Institute of External Trade ininterrumpidamente from 1988 and that has converted this appointment in one of the main actions that organises the entity in the frame of the Sectorial Plan of the Azulejo. As it is usual, the companies azulejeras copan the Official Pavilion being the sectorial participation more numerous of the same.
This incessant activity in international contests is good sample of the exporting character of the Spanish sector manufacturer of azulejos and pavimentos ceramic. 70% of the total sales of the sector allocate to the export, being the present products in more than 182 countries. In 2011, the export of the sector was of 1.892,1 million euros, with an increase of 8,3% with regard to 2010.
