Advantages of the steel structure

The structure of the Alhóndiga is made of steel of latest generation which allows that the construction is durable. In addition:

-The use of steel increase of competitiveness through the application of technologies based on automation in the manufacture of structures and commissioning work.

-It provides greater respect for the environment through:

  • energy efficient envelopes solutions
  • durable and recyclable construction, without demolition, designed especially for its deconstruction,
  • steel is 100 percent recyclable and the components are produced from high percentages of scrap.

-Increase in the structural safety.

Furthermore, the Union of the various elements of the steel structure with screws, avoiding welding, has been another practice that have been used in the building of EMC and that it has provided three interior of a greater strength and security buildings.

However, EMC does not is innovating only with the use of steel since that system of prefabricated panelling of brick face used in the lining of the three interior buildings is also a pioneer in Spain and very beneficial.
