Delivered the prizes of the 'IX Edition Trophy Golden Gypsum of Placo'
The act, that celebrated in the Official School of Architects of Madrid, was chaired by the general director of
Public library Esic.
More than a hundred of professionals of the sector of the construction assisted to the ceremony of delivery of the corresponding prizes to the 'IX Edition Trophy Golden Gypsum of Placo', in an act that has been chaired by the general director of Saint Gobain-Placo, Victor Bautista, and the dean of the Official School of Architects of Madrid, José Antonio Granary.
With this award Saint-Gobain Placo wants to recognise publicly the professionalism of the companies aplicadoras and installers of his products and systems in basic plaster for the construction. In this occasion the companies distinguished have been gaspar and Diaz, Plasters and Mortars Sanabria, Hispalis Decoration of Interiors, Audiotec, Constuseco, and the UTE compound by Acadinsa and Opersis.

The past 30 October opened the on-line vote, that lasted until 22 November, for the selection of the winners, and in which they have participated more than half thousand of people.
The twenty-four projects finalists are classified in 6 distinct categories: plaster; plate of plaster laminado; innovation and sustainable solutions; residential sector; sector hotelero, sanitary ware and education and finally commercial sector and of leisure.
Like this, in the category of Plate of Plaster Laminado recognises the work realizar by gaspar and Diaz in the Public Library Esic of Madrid. In the category of Solutions in Plaster the company selected has been Plasters and Mortars Sanabria, that took part in the rehabilitation of a palace of the 16th century of Valladolid, and that at present receives the Residence Marries Mother of the Mothers Celadoras of the Reign del Corazón of Jesús. The works of catering were possible thanks to the application of Prolite and Mecafino that contribute greater lightness and whiteness in paramentos vertical and horizontals. Likewise, the application of Alfamolde has been decisive to carry out the catering of the arches and cúpulas of the claustro keeping the same characteristics, so much decorative like structural, that in his original state.

Iberostar, Big Hotel Mencey of Tenerife.
Regarding the category of sector hotelero, sanitary ware and education the winner has been Hispalis Decoration of Interiors, that took part in the rehabilitation of the Iberostar Big Hotel Mencey of Tenerife. In this occasion works tackled recover the taken care decoration being necessary, because of the structural pathologies of the building, redo big part of the decoration in plaster of the establishment without being able to split of existent elements to copy, what demanded to manufacture elements in situ from hard moulds of pieces of plaster and cut in them the decorative details that applied in pilasters, capiteles or frisos. The works realizar engloban also false ceilings, vaults, decorations in cornices and candilejas, among others, using specific products like Iberyola, Alfamolde 6 and Ibercol.
The company Audiotec has been the winner in the residential category by the works realizar in the Building Marsan of Valladolid, that that the first building of Castile and Leon that possesses the certificate Q+ of acoustic efficiency where have employed solutions Placo Silence Premium, obtaining values of upper acoustic isolation to 70 dBA. The existent challenge in this construction was to achieve the maximum acoustic isolation in the minimum space, for the cual the use of the profile Metalphonique and of the plate Placo Phonique had a high importance.
In the category Innovation and Sustainable Solutions the winner has been Construseco by his work in a house unifamiliar of Tenerife; and finally in the separated of Commercial Sector and Leisure the triunfadora has been the UTE compound by Acadinsa and Opersis, that acted in the Shopping centre 'The lighthouse of the Guadiana' situated in Badajoz, that has been the first shopping centre of Spain in obtaining the certificate Breeam 'Very Good' of sustainability.

Victor Bautista, general director of Saint Gobain Placo, stood out the “quality of all the projects presented as well as the professionalism of the companies installers. The innovation and the sustainable solutions have been one of the elements diferenciadores of the majority of the executions. In all they have employed solutions Placo with big excellence in the installation and application”.

In past editions the projects presented by Placo have been the winners in the international contest, between them stand out the Museum Guggenheim of Bilbao, the catering of the Monastery of the Paular and the Big Hotel Dominate of Bilbao.
