The sector of the lighting falls to levels of sales of does a decade
To few days to close the exercise, from Anfalum estimates that the sector of the lighting in Spain will finish the 2012 with some sales of 1.233 million euros, what supposes a fall of 7,92% with regard to the 2011 and go back to levels of similar activity to the ones of ten years ago. And if the fall has not been still greater, as it aimed from the own association, has been by in good behaviour of the exports, since during the present year the sales out of Spain have experienced an increase interanual of 9,2%. In fact, the 380 million euros that have had his origin in the exports suppose already 30,82% of the total sales of the sector of the lighting.
By the contrary, the demand in the domestic market keeps his negative tendency, with a descent interanual of 13,93% (853 million euros), that freamers in a circumstantial stage of the Spanish economy that has not improved in 2012: descents in the construction of 12,3%; in the investment in goods of team of 4,7%, in the cost in final consumption of 2,1% and, in definite, of the GDP of 1,5% (estimated).
This fall of the demand in Spain has caused a progressive distance of the figures reached does not do a lot of years, like the 1.984 million euros invoiceed by the sector in 2007.
In a more detailed analysis by type of products, appreciates that the only that keeps a positive path is the LED, that finished the 2012 with some sales of 151 million euros in front of the 130 millions of the 2011 (in 2007 moved in levels of 10 million euros).
The rest of products finalise the 2012 with inferior figures to the ones of the 2011:
-Outdoor lighting: 175 million euros (230 M in 2011).
-Technical interior lighting: 425 million euros (472M in 2011).
-Decorative interior lighting: 165 million euros (170 M in 2011).
-Poles and columns: 36 million euros (45 M in 2011).
-Components for lighting: 139 million euros (154 M in 2011).
Exporting profile of the members of Anfalum
During the Assembly, Anfalum contributed also the results of an interesting study on the weight that has purchased the export in the activity of his associated. Of this form, of all the members of the association, 18 export more than 50%, 20 between 30% and 50%, 18 between 10% and 30%, 20 less than 10% and six are importing.
The next step that goes to give the association in this sense is the compilation of up to date data to know in which areas of the world is giving mainly this exporting activity.
From Anfalum wants besides no only boost the exports but also increase the degree of implantation of the Spanish companies out of our borders with own structure. For this, between other initiatives, will follow promoting the conjoint participation in international fairs like which will take place the next year in Gungzhou (China) and Moscow (Russia).
An intense work
From the Commission of Institutional Relations aimed in the Assembly the last meetings that has kept Anfalum with different administrations and associations, standing out the advances attained in matter of non-payments through the Platform of the Morosidad (in whose managerial participate Anfalum) and the recent launching of LightingEurope, the new voice of the sector of the lighting in Europe when integrating to Celma and ELC (Anfalum is member founder and is in his Executive Committee).
By his part, the Commission of Inspection of Market gave the voice of alarm after the bad results obtained in the essays to products realised during the 2012. Of the 55 articles inspected (in his big majority of signatures that do not belong to Anfalum), 50% presented deficiencies very grave and 38% bass, fulfilling only 4% the marked criteria by the valid rule.
The Ordinary General Assembly concluded with a review of the activities realised during the last months by the Technical Commission and of Environingingment and by the department of Communication and Image of Anfalum.
