TAIM Weser replaced gas heating with a renewable system at its plant in biomass gasification
November 23, 2010
taim weser has developed an innovative heating system for its vegetable biomass gasification plant, which replaced the system of gas by heat generated from the actual activity of the plant, which produces electrical and thermal energy
The director of the Division of Renewable energies of the company, Luis Monge, intervened on 28 October bio-the V Congress International of energy, held in the framework of Expobioenergía 2010. There, he presented the new system, which consists of "the replacement of the heating of gas from the entire surface of mechanization of products by renewable heating".
According to Monge, that heating was based on a system gas-agua - air, by which, in his view, integrating the plant has been "easy" as only new machines miuxed have connected in the circuit of air. "In this circuit, the hot water comes from heat recovery circuits in gas cooling and shirts of motor with a write-off of equipment extremely accelerated by the total replacement of the consumption of natural gas," he explains.
For Taim Weser, the new contribution to the functioning of this plant demonstrates the "capacity for development" that an industrial group can generate in areas of diversification, to offer to the market efficient energy solutions, and at the same time environmentally friendly and sustainable environmentally.
