The Palace Hotel in Madrid will host on Thursday 16 September the day over roads, an initiative organized by the Spanish Association of manufacturers of mixing products (Asefma), in which a report drawn up by Miguel Angel del Val, Professor of the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
As recorded in the report, the Spanish authorities should invest in the rehabilitation and upgrading of roads firm a minimum of EUR 1.288,89 million per year (528,02 million euros for the State network, 579 million stop autonomic networks and 181 for the provincial councils and councils)figures significantly lower than those estimated on the basis of 1% of the replacement cost of the networks and far superior to them that really have been invested in recent years in Spain. The consequences of this gap are not other than additional costs and additional risks for the future as increased fuel consumption, reduction of the life of the tyres, increase in gas emissions and a higher accident rate.
