Autodesk and Trimble create AutoCAD Civil 3D data exchange tool

This new and free software extension that can be downloaded from the web and that is called AutoCAD Civil 3D Importer for Trimble Business Center-HCE, offers the ability to import DWG files containing objects of native design AutoCAD Civil 3D software Trimble Business Center-HCE. The latter uses the AutoCAD Civil 3D model information to prepare, manage and distribute data for use with the line of control products slope and positioning work of Trimble for operations of movements of Earth, leveling and finished leveling layer. Through this extension, contractors can be benefited by several advantages such as reducing the time and costs in the preparation of data, the abundant information direct to the field, the total accounting with DWG and more simplified workflow.
