AEPA and the University of Castilla - La Mancha, Spain are working together to develop training and research initiatives

Entrepreneurs in the sector are interested in developing joint activities in the fields of geology, mining, public works, architecture, environment, models of sustainable development, statistical research, safety and health and spatial planning, among others.
The collaboration agreement will involve the development of research work, activities of technology support and provision of services, in accordance with the General regulations of the University of Castilla - La Mancha, as well as the joint use of equipment and means instrumentals for use in r & d-related activitiesadvice, training and technical assistance, and specific collaborations on the joint execution of research work and activities of mutual interest to both parties.
José María Iraizoz, Director of the Department of engineering geology and mining, and Francisco j. Quiles, Vice-Rector of research, on behalf of the University, and Vicente Álvarez bridge, President of AEPA Castilla - La Mancha, were in charge of sign the agreement in a ceremony attended also byUCLM, Rosa Maria Carrasco, Deputy Director of the Department of geological engineering and mining of the Faculty of Sciences of the environment, and Antonio Chamorro, Professor in the Department led by José María Iraizoz.
The aggregates sector is an important industry in this autonomous community, ensuring the sustainability and the development of the construction, to provide a basic raw material for the manufacture of cement and concrete.
