Mann+Hummel Iberian faces with firm bases the new challenges of the posventa
With regard to the previous edition of the fair Motortec Automechanika Iberian, celebrated in the year 2011, the sector of the posventa, as it indicated Javier Sanz, has followed an evolution no exenta of difficulties, especially during the 2012. In spite of this, Mann+Hummel Iberian attained to finish the past exercise in a figure of similar sales to the one of the 2011 (127 million euros), sustentada especially in the good behaviour that has followed the line of business of first team (in spite of the fall of registrations that has experienced the market).
The company, that has near of 700 workers in Spain, is still in a process of consolidation of the initiatives that have come taking along the last years, and continues working in new developments, as they show the 35 projects that has at present on of the table to improve, even more, his logistics in matter of spare parts.
To world-wide level, as it confirmed Javier Sanz, Mann+Hummel attained in 2012 a growth of 4% in his figure of turnover, reaching the 2.600 million euros. Also it gave a remarkable increase in the number of workers that conform his staff, until arriving to the 14.750 people, delivered by all the world.
With these results, the Group goes by the good way to the hour to attain the aims that had marked for the period 2010-2018, to arrive to the 3.400 million euros and to the 21.000 workers. For this, as it confirmed the new general director of Mann+Hummel Iberian, to the organic growth expected by the company go to add new business acquisitions, directed especially to take advantage of the potential of growth that still has Mann+Hummel in the Asian markets and American.
By his part, Jorge Room, commercial director of Mann+Hummel Iberian, added that the presence of the company in this edition of Motortec Automechanika Iberian is a clear sample of his strong bet by the sector posventa, in which it wants to follow investing to short, half and long term. Although the 2013 presents like a difficult year for this market, keeping in shape of the 2012, Mann+Hummel Iberian has wanted to reflect in this fair that his organisation is in full “ebullición” to face up to the numerous changes that are producing in the world of the posventa.
Jorge Room did not want to sack without before remember that in the sector of the filter is not all done. All the contrary, can follow innovando, as they show the different solutions of this company that have remained finalists in the Gallery of Innovation of the fair.
A stand open to the public and to the novelties
During his intervention, Javier Bellmunt, director of Marketing of Mann+Hummel Iberian, wanted to stand out the special design of the stand of the company for this contest, that, following the tendency of his last presences feriales, showed like an open space to the public, marked by the inconfundibles corporate colours of this signature.
The stand was divided in several zones (first team, industrial vehicle, technology, habitáculo, workshop, ‘Asian'…), of such form that all the assistants could know the wide range of solutions that already offers the company.
Between the numerous novelties presented by Mann+Hummel in Motortec Automechanika Iberian 2013, were the new filters of air with coating of nanofibra for commercial vehicles. They offer an efficiency of separation extremely high, of until 99,97%, with low resistance in passing and a long useful life.
Also stood out the new half filtrante of fuel Multigrade F_HAVE++, that fulfils the requirements of leak for fuel, that are considerably upper, in the modern systems of injection of high pressesure. The half increases the performance of leak in comparison with the best filtrante previous by a factor of 10.
Like another innovation, Mann+Hummel has presented a new module of gestión of oil highly integrated cheese cheese, that establishes a new standard in the leak of oil for motors of commercial vehicles. A carcasa compact combines leak and refrigeration of the oil and separation of the mist of oil.
Another strong dish of the fair was to know the new filter of air of Mann-Filter for the truck Mercedes Benz Actros. A product clearly “greener”: use more economic of the power and of the resources during the manufacture and in the operation, saving almost two kilograms of plastic during the service, and lower broadcasts of CO2 in the elimination. At the same time, it increases the performance of leak, the stability to the water and the profitability.
In filters of air, Mann+Hummel has presented a new concept, by which these filters only consist of three individual parts: a carcasa, one covers and an element filtrante. This means that the carcasa can open easily without unscrewing any screw. The task to substitute a filter does like this simpler, fast and clean, reducing at the same time the periods of maintenance and the costs.
The company also has presented in the fair the new systems of prefiltro of fuel for systems of injection diesel PreLine 270 and 420, characterised for providing more performance and advantages of maintenance. They separate effectively the water and the particles, being allocated to the installation in trucks and buses.
Also for truck has presented a new design of the element filtrante of urea Or 630 x, that protects the delicate systems SCR of the current vehicles in front of contaminantes. The big advantage for the mechanic is his connection of adjust to pressesure, that facilitates and does faster the recolocación. This version contains an element compensator to work to temperatures under zero.
