Dow Chemical Iberian receives the prize Coashiq to the hygiene

The Autonomous Commission of hygiene and Hygiene in the Work of the Chemical and Affine Industry (Coashiq) has rewarded to Dow Chemical Iberian in recognition to his work in the prevention of the labour risks, in a gala celebrated the past 20 June. Said gala passed during the 81ª Assembly-Technical Day of Coashiq, in the Hotel Husa Imperial of Tarragona.

The prizes Coashiq to the hygiene have the purpose of incentivar the work of the companies of the chemical and affine sector to reduce the accidents and improvements the preventive action. Consequence of this political is the galardón that has delivered to Dow Chemical Iberian, like recognition of the more standard heights in hygiene by which Dow pleads and that have materialised in the obtaining of the result of an index of frequency zero in the accidents with drop during the year 2011.

In quality of representatives of Dow Chemical Iberian attended to the act Kepa Díaz of Mendibil, Director of the Industrial Complex of Tarragona, and Jose Luis Cullia, EH&S Delivery Leader. When collecting the prize, Díaz of Mendibil declared: “The recognitions that more enorgullecen to Dow are those that have to see with the hygiene, because this involves that we are doing our work well and involves, to his time, that are doing it all and each one of our employees and contractors”. Likewise, it added: “Zero incidents, zero accidents, zero excuses: it is this philosophy the one who does us arrive to the highest”.
